The Team

Steven has been auctioneering for over 30 years. Starting his career with Curr & Dewar he gained a professional qualification with The Institute of Auctioneers and Appraisers. He then widened his knowledge working in East Anglia and County Durham. Auctioneering is in Steven's blood being the fourth generation to run Curr & Dewar.

Clare joined the family business in 2004. She manages the office and accounts as well as organising press, advertising and marketing. She particularly enjoys dealing with customers whether on the phone or face to face.

David has been with Curr & Dewar since 2005. Previously he worked with a local removal firm travelling all over the UK. He will be the first face you meet when we are undertaking house clearances, collections and deliveries. With his experience there are not many pieces of furniture David has not handled in his career.

Colin has joined Curr & Dewar from Polygon working with clients during and after an insurance claim, he has experience in house clearance and furniture removals. Working closely with David he will be one of the first people you meet when we are collecting furniture and undertaking house clearances. You will also meet Colin at the auction rooms when collecting purchases and consigning items to sale.
